CA: Andy Dick Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail, Must Register as a Sex Offender

Source: consequence.net 11/15/22

Andy Dick has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and will be required to register as a sex offender, the The Blast reports.

The sentencing comes after the disgraced comedian was recently convicted of sexual battery, stemming from a 2018 incident in which a Los Angeles Uber driver accused Dick of groping him.

Dick will check himself into the Los Angeles County Jail starting November 17th. When his sentence is complete, he will spend 12 months closely monitored on “summary probation.” He was also ordered to complete 52 Alcoholics Anonymous sessions, 52 sexual compulsion anonymous sessions, 12 mental health counseling sessions, and pay restitution to the victim.

Very unfortunate last name considering the nature of the offenses.
Similar to state senator Scott Weiner who seems to specialize in sexual libertarian causes.

Sounds like he’s gotta Alcohol and Drug problem, I bet the registry sobers his as up real quick.

I was watching YouTube videos on this, and other news reporting. And there was not one person in the comments saying that he should be dead. They were all, I hope he gets better, I would have never guessed. I feel sorry for this guy he must have some mental illness. But just because he’s known they think that he’s all right. They can humanize him, but they can’t humanize the guy down the road. Sad.

What? Ok now I’m really pissed off. Talk about giving sex offenders a bad name. Please don’t call me Mr. Dick!

When we make negative or demeaning comments about him , we are doing it about all that have put on the registry. Whatever their previous positions of public service, wealth or notoriety , they still don’t deserve to be on a list. Please try and remember this. That is what we are fighting for after all, isn’t it?

This isn’t surprising. This has been a long running bad joke that Andy Dick, is well, his last name.

But the registry did nothing to stop him prior.

See Disgusted thats what happens when you watch “TAXI”to much, Call it the Foster syndrome.

There are all kinds of creeps. Some think the registry is about violent men but Mr. Dick here is a much nicer than this guy –Cop handcuffs a kid(CBS News).
Placing child rearing decisions to close to state power is dangerous for stability and peace.

Keep in mind the kid who jumped to his death in Illinois was
confronted by a local cop & not a constitutional state cop ( Sheriffs count) when being interrogated about the photo on his phone. the girl had sent the boy a t*ts pic. That stupid cop started associating him a sex offender without lawful knowledge of the bar to guilt & Without his parent present. THE SAME S*”t HERE. And so if being Mr. Dick is a nomination yesterday, I vote for this cop as Dick of the day.

90 days in the hole! great tune, poor Andy he had his chances see you Andy at our meetings

Registration and probation are just an extension of the police state, especially if registration was a condition of probation. Restitution is reward for testimony in aiding the conviction. If he did in fact commit a legitimate crime and serves his time as punishment then he should be done with it all.

And as he’ll find out it’s all just a string along game. Get you on the hook easy, fight you tooth and nail to get you off the hook.

After that encounter with Dick, I bet this Uber driver will never again let passengers ride up front

Uh, I’m not sure if you have followed Andy, but the guy has been arrested multiple times for drugs and sexual charges. I’m blown away it took this long for him to get nailed. Andy has serious issues!
